Mr. Herman Singh Dhade is both a United States immigration lawyer and a Canada immigration lawyer. He assists those in Michigan and around the world to immigrate to the United States and Canada. While in law school, he specialized in immigration law. With over 20 years of experience with thousands of immigration cases and issues, he is one of the most prominent immigration lawyers in the country.
Mr. Dhade is also one of the few “international lawyers.” A high powered federal lawyer, he argues immigration cases throughout the United States and Canada. He is admitted in the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Federal Court of the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States Federal Court Western District of Michigan, and is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts as well.
Mr. Dhade is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. (AILA)
Ms. Mayson Habhab is a highly experienced attorney. Her Juris Doctor in Law was earned from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, Detroit, Michigan (Cum Laude). She was one of the brightest students and graduated in the top 10% of her class. She was also awarded the prestigious Dean's scholarship from her law school, and is a member of the Dean's Honor Society and the 2011 Honorable Frank Murphy Honor Society. Prior to law school, Ms. Habhab received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Political Science, specializing in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan (Cum Laude).
Being a first-generation American is something Ms. Habhab prides herself in. She has been able to witness firsthand the struggles of immigrants. These experiences drew her focus and interest towards immigration law, with the goal of providing adequate legal services to a vulnerable community. Since becoming a licensed attorney, she has continued to work in the field of immigration law, gaining many years of experience. Ms. Habhab enjoys working with immigrants from a variety of nationalities, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds and is focused on maintaining client satisfaction and meeting clients' needs. She is also fluent in Arabic.
Ms. Zanah Ghalawanji is completing her Juris Doctorate degree at Wayne State University Law School, where she is a President’s Scholar Recipient, Anthony Maiullo Memorial Scholar Recipient, and a House Morcom Scholarship Recipient. Ms. Ghalawanji was also awarded Wayne State University Law School’s Public Interest Law Fellowship Award for her dedication to public interest work. Prior to attending law school, she graduated from the University of Michigan Dearborn, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology, and was recognized on the Dean’s List for her academic achievements.
As the daughter of Syrian immigrants, Ms. Ghalawanji is dedicated to providing life-changing immigration services to individuals seeking a new life in the United States. Before working with the law firm, she spent time in Amman, Jordan where she worked with the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) and provided legal assistance to refugees concerning refugee resettlement cases. She is a native Arabic speaker and is fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Samir Karam is devoted to helping immigrants and advancing the field of immigration law. One of the most dedicated in the field, he has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He was one of the top studies by graduating Cum Laude. He is also completing his Juris Doctorate degree from the prestigious world renowned, University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to joining the law firm, he contributed to the immigrant community by working at the Southwest Detroit Immigration and Refugee Center in Detroit, Michigan. He helped individuals and their families with their immigration and refugee issues. Family is extremely important to him so being able to assist in affirming family unity to those affected by immigration is dear to him.
Ms. Haley Delvecchio is one of our legal assistants. She has a Bachelor of Arts in both Spanish and International Studies from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She also studied at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and is fluent in Spanish
Ms. Kimberly Tallent studies at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI and is completing her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising with a minor in Public Relations. Being a first generation American has been a defining characteristic in her life, which is what led to her initial interest in immigration and refugee advocacy. After interning with St. Vincent Catholic Charities, in Lansing, within their Outreach and Community Relations teams, she decided to target her passion towards the legalities facing immigrants and refugees. Which is what led her to her current position with one of the top immigration firms.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking with her husband and training for her upcoming half marathon.
